• Salman Khan personally called Katrina Kaif after watching her in a music video and offered her the lead in 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?' (2005). She had barely any Hindi film experience at the time.
• On the set of 'Partner' (2007), Salman would deliberately mess up his lines to make Katrina laugh during serious scenes. She said it broke her nervousness and made her loosen up on camera.
