Bardaasht(2004)
Bardaasht is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language vigilante action-thriller film directed by Eeshwar Nivas and written by Vikram Bhatt. The film stars Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sharma, and Rahul Dev. The story follows Major Aditya Shrivastava, a court-martialled army officer whose younger brother Anuj is killed by corrupt police officers in a fake encounter. When the legal system fails to deliver justice, Aditya kidnaps the officers and forces them to confess. The film is notable for its unflinching portrayal of police brutality and corruption within the system. Critics praised Bobby Deol's performance as one of his career best. The film released in April 2004.

Storyline
Major Aditya Shrivastava's younger brother Anuj is killed by corrupt cops in a fake encounter. When the court fails to punish the killers, Aditya kidnaps the three officers and tortures them until they confess. He records their confessions and presents the evidence to the police commissioner, finally getting justice for his brother.
