• They first met on the set of Bardaasht (2004), but Riteish almost didn't get the role. The director wanted a bigger name. Lara personally pushed for Riteish after a screen test, telling the team he had the right 'raw energy' for her character's love interest.
• In Masti (2004), Lara and Riteish invented a running gag on set: every time their characters argued, Riteish would break into an impromptu dance move, and Lara would deadpan a line back. That bit wasn't in the script — the director kept it because the crew laughed every take.
