'The Hero: Love Story of a Spy' is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language action spy thriller film directed by Anil Sharma. It stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, and Priyanka Chopra in her Hindi film debut. The story follows Major Arun Khanna, a RAW agent who goes undercover to stop a terrorist plot to build a nuclear bomb in Kashmir. The film was produced by Time Magnetics and was the most expensive Indian film ever made at the time of its release. It grossed over ₹451 million worldwide, becoming the third-highest-grossing Indian film of 2003. Chopra won the Stardust Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance. The film was released on 11 April 2003.

Storyline
Major Arun Khanna, a RAW agent, falls in love with Reshma, a village girl in Kashmir. He sends her undercover into Pakistan to spy on terrorists planning a nuclear attack. After a deadly attack separates them, Arun fakes his death to infiltrate the terrorist network in Canada, leading to a series of sacrifices and a painful love triangle.
