Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Abbas–Mustan. It stars Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Preity Zinta in lead roles. The story follows a married couple, Raj and Priya, who hire a prostitute named Madhu as a surrogate mother after Priya becomes infertile. To avoid family shame, they move to Switzerland to carry out the plan in secret. The film generated controversy for its depiction of surrogacy and prostitution, and for alleged underworld funding. Preity Zinta's performance as Madhu earned her a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The film was a commercial success, grossing over ₹37 crore worldwide. It was released on 9 March 2001 after a delayed release due to legal issues.

Storyline
Raj and Priya are a happy couple who want a child. After a miscarriage leaves Priya infertile, they secretly hire a prostitute named Madhu to carry Raj's baby. They move to Switzerland to hide the truth from Raj's conservative family. But as Madhu grows closer to Raj, emotions get complicated. The secret threatens to destroy everything they have built.
