Yaadein(2001)
Yaadein is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language musical drama film written, directed, edited, and produced by Subhash Ghai. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Amrish Puri. The story follows Ronit Malhotra, a young man who rejects his wealthy family's greed, and Isha Puri, a strong-willed girl who claims she does not believe in love. Their friendship blossoms into love, but Ronit's family arranges his marriage to a business tycoon's daughter for a merger. Jackie Shroff received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Despite negative reviews and a box office disappointment, the film was profitable due to music rights and ancillary revenues of ₹21 crore. The soundtrack, composed by Anu Malik, sold 2.2 million units. The film was released worldwide on 27 July 2001.

Storyline
Ronit Malhotra hates his family's obsession with money. He finds love and warmth in the home of Raj Singh Puri, his father's best friend. Ronit falls for Raj's youngest daughter, Isha. But Ronit's parents secretly plan his marriage to a wealthy heiress for a business merger. Ronit must choose between his family's wealth and the woman he truly loves.
