
Pukar(2000)
Pukar is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. It stars Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Namrata Shirodkar, Danny Denzongpa, and Om Puri. The story follows Major Jaidev Rajvansh, an army officer who captures a terrorist leader. His childhood friend Anjali is manipulated into stealing a classified military code, leading to the terrorist's escape and Jai's arrest for treason. The film explores themes of love, betrayal, and redemption against a backdrop of national security. It won two National Film Awards, including Best Actor for Kapoor and the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. The film was released on 4 February 2000.

Storyline
Major Jaidev Rajvansh is a loyal army officer. He captures a dangerous terrorist. But his childhood friend Anjali is tricked into betraying him. She steals a secret code that helps the terrorist escape. Jai is framed for treason. He must clear his name and stop a deadly bombing.
