Mrityudata(1997)
Mrityudata (1997) is a Hindi-language action film directed by Mehul Kumar. It stars Amitabh Bachchan as Dr. Ram Prasad Ghayal, alongside Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, and Paresh Rawal. The story follows a respected surgeon who loses his brother and wife to corruption and turns into a vigilante killer. The film is loosely based on the 1991 Bengali film Proshno. It marked Bachchan's return to cinema after a five-year hiatus and was produced by his company ABCL. The soundtrack, composed by Anand-Milind, sold 3 million audio cassettes. Despite a strong opening, the film was a box office failure.

Storyline
Dr. Ram Prasad Ghayal is a brilliant surgeon with a perfect life. When his honest brother is framed and killed by corrupt politicians, and his wife dies of grief, Dr. Ram snaps. He becomes the Angel of Death, hunting down every person responsible for his family's destruction.
