Trivia

  • The film's title 'Milan' means 'meeting' in Hindi, but it had no connection to the 1967 romantic classic of the same name.
  • This was one of the few films where actor Jackie Shroff played a character named Raja, a name he used in several of his 80s hits.
  • Director Mahesh Bhatt reportedly completed the film's shooting in a very short schedule, which was common for his productions in the mid-90s.
  • The soundtrack, composed by Nadeem-Shravan, included the hit song "Mujhe Neend Na Aaye," sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik.
  • Actress Manisha Koirala, who played Priya, was simultaneously shooting for several major films during this period, including 'Bombay'.
  • The film's plot of a framed man seeking justice was a popular theme in 90s action dramas, similar to other films of the era.
  • Despite the star cast, the film had a moderate box office performance compared to other Jackie Shroff releases of the time.
