Storyline

A college principal's younger brother, Ajay, fails his exams and leaves home to become a poet. After his poetry is rejected, he moves to Bombay, falls into bad habits, and becomes engaged to an actress. His former love, Nikita, finds him there and they work together to turn his life around so he can keep his promise to his family.

A poet's broken promise leads him down a dangerous path.
