Isi Ka Naam Zindagi is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language supernatural action comedy film directed by Kalidas. The lead cast includes Aamir Khan, Farah, Pran, and Shakti Kapoor in a double role. Set during the British Raj, the story follows an old man named Bansiram who refuses to sell his land to a greedy landlord's son. The film blends family drama, romance, and ghostly intervention. It is a remake of the Bengali film Banchharamer Bagaan, which won a National Award. Despite strong performances, especially by Pran, the film was a commercial failure at the box office. Storyline
An old man named Bansiram owns a piece of land given to him by a kind landlord. After the landlord dies, his greedy son tries to steal the land. Bansiram refuses to give it up. His grandson Chhotu dreams of building a distillery on the land. The battle for the land takes a supernatural turn when the dead landlord returns as a ghost.
