Drishti is a 1990 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Govind Nihalani. The cast includes Dimple Kapadia, Shekhar Kapur, Irrfan Khan, and Mita Vasisht. The story follows Sandhya and Nikhil, an upper-class Mumbai couple whose eight-year marriage unravels after both engage in extramarital affairs. The film is notable for its departure from Nihalani's usual socio-political themes, focusing instead on intimate marital dynamics. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi at the 38th National Film Awards. The music was composed by classical singer Kishori Amonkar, her only film score. The film was restored by the Film Heritage Foundation in 2018.
