Ghar Ho To Aisa(1990)
'Ghar Ho To Aisa' (transl. This is what home should be like) is a 1990 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Kalpataru and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. The film stars Anil Kapoor and Meenakshi Seshadri in lead roles, alongside Raj Kiran, Deepti Naval, Bindu, and Saeed Jaffrey. The story follows the Kumar family, where a cruel mother-in-law and her son abuse the gentle daughter-in-law Sharda. The younger son Amar and a strong-willed woman named Seema conspire to teach the family a lesson by turning their toxic behavior against them. The film is notable for Meenakshi Seshadri's acclaimed performance as a feisty daughter-in-law, providing a sharp contrast to Deepti Naval's meek character. Bindu's portrayal of the negative mother-in-law was widely praised. The movie was a commercial success at the box office and was later remade in Telugu as 'Attintlo Adde Mogudu'. It was released in 1990.

Storyline
Amar lives in a cruel home where his mother and brother abuse his sister-in-law Sharda. When Sharda is thrown out and presumed dead, Amar discovers she is alive. He teams up with the independent Seema to pretend to be married and take revenge on his toxic family. Together, they force the abusers to face their own cruelty.
