Pathinaaru (transl. Sixteen) is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Sabapathy Dekshinamurthy. The lead cast includes Shiva, Madhu Shalini, Kishore Kumar, and Velu Prabhakaran. The story follows young lovers Shiva and Indu whose relationship is opposed by Indu's parents. Storyline
Shiva and Indu are in love, but her parents hate their relationship. To break them apart, they give the couple a tragic love story book. The book is supposed to scare them into separating. But Shiva and Indu discover the book is actually about Indu's own father's lost love. The truth forces everyone to face their past and decide what love really means.
