Nayyapudai is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Vijaya Kiran. The film stars S. A. Chandrasekhar, Pa. Vijay, M. S. Bhaskar, and Chandini Tamilarasan. The story follows Vellaichamy, a retired army man who protects poor children in Chennai. He fights against a don named Baby Anaconda who smuggles red sanders wood. A corrupt police officer named Satyamurthy aids the don. The film was produced by 6Face Studios and released on 26 February 2016. Critics praised Chandrasekhar's action performance at his age but criticized the weak screenplay and execution. The cinematography by M. Jeevan was noted as the film's strongest element.

Storyline
A retired army man named Vellaichamy lives alone in Chennai. He takes care of poor children in his neighborhood. When he saves a bus from thugs, he makes a powerful enemy. The don Baby Anaconda and a corrupt cop want him dead. Vellaichamy must fight them both to protect the children and the city.
