Anbu Kattalai is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Yaar Kannan. The film stars Ramarajan as CID Jagan, Pallavi as Sudha, and K. R. Vijaya as Sumathi, with Vinu Chakravarthy portraying the antagonist Sakthivel. The story follows a police officer who unknowingly investigates a murder committed by his own father, who is seeking revenge for his brother's death. The film explores the moral conflict between familial loyalty and legal duty. It features a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Gangai Amaran and Piraisoodan.
