Samsara Sangeetham is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language musical drama film written, directed, produced, photographed, and scored by T. Rajendar. The cast includes T. Rajendar as Kaalidasan, his son Silambarasan as Chimbu, his daughter Ilakiya, and Renuka. The story follows a married couple who separate after a fight, leaving their son with the father and their daughter with the mother. The young son, Chimbu, grows up longing for his mother and eventually runs away to find her. The film is notable for launching Silambarasan's career as a child artist through the popular song 'I am a Little Star.' It was released on 21 July 1989.
