Agni Nakshatram(1988)
Agni Natchathiram is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language masala film written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The film stars Prabhu, Karthik, Amala, and Nirosha. It follows two half-brothers, Gautham and Ashok, who are locked in a bitter feud. Their father Vishwanath is an honest IAS officer. A criminal named Chidambaram threatens the family. The brothers must overcome their hatred to save their father. The film is noted for its innovative lighting and cinematography by P.C. Sreeram. It was a commercial success, running for over 200 days. It won multiple awards including Filmfare and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. The film was released on 15 April 1988 for the Tamil New Year.

Storyline
