En Thangachi Padichava is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by P. Vasu in his solo directorial debut. The film stars Prabhu, Rupini, and Chithra in lead roles. The story follows Periasamy, an orphan who returns to his village after five years in prison for killing his sister's murderer. He joins forces with an honest police officer to stop a cruel landlord from terrorizing the villagers and stealing their land. The film explores themes of brotherly love, betrayal, and justice. It was a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres. The soundtrack, composed by Gangai Amaran, was his 100th film as a composer. The film was released on 15 July 1988.

Storyline
