'Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai' (2011) is a Tamil-language mystery comedy-drama film directed by Suseenthiran. It stars Appukutty and Saranya Mohan in lead roles. The story follows Azhagarsami, a young man whose horse is stolen just before his wedding. Simultaneously, a village loses its ceremonial wooden horse. The film is based on a short story by Bhaskar Sakthi. It won two National Film Awards: Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Supporting Actor for Appukutty. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film was screened at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. It was released on 12 May 2011.

Storyline
Azhagarsami is a poor young man who earns his living with his horse. His wedding to Rani is fixed. Days before the marriage, his horse is stolen. At the same time, a village loses its sacred wooden horse. Azhagarsami must find his horse or lose everything. The village must find its horse or face the wrath of the Rain Gods.
