Thaikku Oru Thalattu is a 1986 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Balachandra Menon. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Padmini, Visu, and Pandiarajan in lead roles. It is a remake of Menon's own Malayalam film Oru CBI Diary Kurippu. The story follows an elderly mother who lives alone in a village while her son builds a career in the city. The son neglects her until it is too late. The film explores the emotional distance between a mother and her busy son. Ilaiyaraaja composed the music for the film.
