Thazhuvatha Kaigal (transl. Hands that never hugged) is a 1986 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by R. Sundarrajan. The film stars Vijayakanth, Ambika, and Anuradha in lead roles. The story follows a lonely man who has never hugged anyone due to a childhood trauma, and a woman who tries to heal his emotional wounds. The film's music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, with lyrics by Vaali and Gangai Amaran. Ambika received a special award at the 7th Cinema Express Awards for her performance. The film was released on 1 November 1986, during Diwali.

Storyline
