Aduthathu Albert(1985)
Aduthathu Albert is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film produced and directed by G. N. Rangarajan. The film stars Prabhu as Albert, a Christian boy, and Urvashi as Radha, a Brahmin girl. The story revolves around two neighbouring families divided by religion, where the siblings of the lead pair fall in love and commit suicide after facing opposition. The film faced censorship issues due to its interfaith romance theme and was a box office failure upon its release on 12 July 1985. Ilaiyaraaja composed the soundtrack, with the song 'Va Va Mysooru' gaining popularity. The film is notable for its bold theme of cross-religion love in 1980s Tamil cinema.
