Dhandanai(1985)
Dhandanai is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Rama Narayanan and produced by Thirupathi Pictures. The film stars Vijayakanth, Ambika, Major Sundarrajan, Jayachitra, and S. S. Chandran in lead roles. The story follows a young farmer who loses his parents to murder and his sister to kidnapping at the hands of a powerful village landlord. With no help from the corrupt police, the protagonist takes on the landlord's thugs in a series of violent confrontations. The film is noted for its raw emotional tone and Vijayakanth's intense performance as a man driven by love and revenge. Chandrabose composed the film's musical score. Storyline
