Oorukku Ubadesam is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by S. P. Muthuraman. The film stars S. Ve. Shekher, Urvasi in a dual role, and Visu. It follows Pulavar Ponnambalam, a religious lecturer who preaches morality while his own family hides dark secrets. When his son Bharathan falsely accuses his sister-in-law Janaki of being a prostitute, the family disintegrates. The film is an adaptation of Visu's 1974 stage play Sirithu Konde Azhugirom. It received positive reviews for its story and performances. The film was remade in Kannada as Indina Ramayana in 1984.
