Storyline

A respected clerk tries to help his unemployed son get a job, but a scandal and a tragedy shatter the family. A year later, a thief who looks like their late son takes shelter with them and pretends to be him to comfort the grieving mother. As the family bonds with the impostor, old secrets resurface and threaten their new connection.
