Engal Thanga Raja(1980)
'Engal Thanga Raja' (1973) is a Tamil-language action drama film directed and produced by V. B. Rajendra Prasad. It stars Sivaji Ganesan in a dual role as Dr. Thangaraja and the gangster Pattakathi Bhairavan, alongside Manjula and Sowcar Janaki. The story follows a respected doctor who transforms into a violent criminal at night, loosely adapting Robert Louis Stevenson's 'Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde'. The film is a remake of the 1972 Telugu film 'Manavudu Danavudu'. It features music by K. V. Mahadevan with lyrics by Kannadasan, and the song 'Iravukkum Pagalukkum' became a major hit. The film ran for over 100 days in theatres and received positive reviews for Sivaji Ganesan's performance.

Storyline
