Enipadigal(1979)
'Enipadigal' (1979) is a Tamil-language drama film directed by P. Madhavan and produced by K. S. Sethumadhavan. It stars Sivakumar and Shoba in lead roles, with Sathyaraj playing the antagonist. The story follows Chella Kannu, a young sweeper who becomes a popular movie star, and her lover Manickam who supports her climb to fame. Her brother Muthu's villainy separates them. The film is a remake of the Telugu film 'Seetamalakshmi' (1978). It was praised for its realistic performances, Mahendran's dialogues, and K. V. Mahadevan's music. 'Enipadigal' was a commercial success upon its release on 16 February 1979.

Storyline
