'Naan Vazhavaippen' is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by D. Yoganand. It stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, and Rajinikanth. The story follows Ravi, a travel agent who falsely confesses to murder after being diagnosed with a brain tumor, hoping to secure a reward for his family. He is sentenced to death but survives the tumor, then must find the real killer to prove his innocence. The film is a remake of the Hindi film 'Majboor' (1974). It was praised for its brisk direction and strong performances. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film was released on 10 August 1979.

Storyline

Ravi is a travel agent who is the sole provider for his family. When he is diagnosed with a fatal brain tumor, he makes a desperate choice. He falsely confesses to a murder so his family can claim the reward money. Sentenced to death, he survives the tumor and must now find the real killer to save himself from the gallows.
