Pagalil Oru Iravu(1979)
'Pagalil Oru Iravu' is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language psychological drama film directed by I. V. Sasi. The film stars Vijayakumar, Sridevi, Seema, and Ravikumar. It follows Bindhu, a woman who suffers from hysterical amnesia after a miscarriage. Her hidden past as a rape victim resurfaces, threatening her marriage. The film is a remake of Sasi's own Malayalam film 'Aalinganam' (1976). It features a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Kannadasan. The song 'Ilamai Enum Poongaatru' gained significant popularity. The film was praised by Kalki magazine for its innovative storyline, visuals, and performances. It was released on 15 August 1979.

Storyline
Bindhu marries Vinod and seems happy. After a fall and miscarriage, she develops hysteria and forgets her past. Her doctor Rajee discovers that Bindhu was raped as a teenager. The secret threatens to destroy Bindhu's marriage and her sanity.
