Pattakkathi Bhairavan(1979)
Pattakkathi Bhairavan is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by V. B. Rajendra Prasad. It stars Sivaji Ganesan in a dual role as Arun and Bhairavan, alongside Sridevi, Jayasudha, Jai Ganesh, and Sowcar Janaki. The story follows a baby abandoned in a garbage bin who grows up to become a feared criminal wielding a gauntlet-sword. The film is a remake of the 1978 Telugu film Katakataala Rudrayya. Ilaiyaraaja composed the soundtrack with lyrics by Kannadasan. The film received mixed reviews, with critics noting the gauntlet-sword failed to shine. It was released on 19 October 1979.

Storyline
A baby is thrown into a garbage bin by his grandfather to hide a family scandal. He is rescued and raised by a poor driver, but runs away after a violent fight. Years later, he returns as Pattakkathi Bhairavan, a ruthless killer who uses a gauntlet-sword. He seeks revenge on the man who destroyed his adopted family while hiding from the police and his own past.
