Vetrikku Oruvan(1979)
Vetrikku Oruvan is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by S. P. Muthuraman and produced by S. Baskar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Sripriya, M. N. Nambiar, and Mohan Babu in lead roles. The story follows Saravanan, a timid young man who transforms into a ruthless avenger after criminals murder his father. The film features a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Panchu Arunachalam. It was released on 8 December 1979 and was a box office failure, which the director attributed to a lack of pre-production planning. The film is notable as the debut of wig maker B. Natesan, who designed Sripriya's curly wig for the song 'Thoranam Aadidum'.

Storyline
Saravanan is a cowardly young man who depends on his father for everything. When criminals murder his father, Saravanan must find the courage to fight back. With the help of his girlfriend Radha, he trains in martial arts and systematically destroys the criminal empire responsible for his father's death.
