Murugan Adimai (1977) is an Indian Tamil-language devotional film directed by R. Thyagarajan. The lead cast includes R. Muthuraman, K. R. Vijaya, and A. V. M. Rajan. The story follows Valliyammal, a wealthy woman and ardent devotee of Lord Murugan, who marries a thief who shares her faith. Their son is cursed to die at age eight, leading to a divine confrontation between Murugan and Yama. The film is noted for its strong devotional themes and supernatural elements. It was released on 25 March 1977.

Storyline
