Palabhishekam(1977)
Palabhishekam is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by K. S. Gopalakrishnan. It stars Jaishankar, Srikanth, Sripriya, and Rajasulochana in lead roles. The story follows Kumaran, a poor farmer who unknowingly competes with his half-brother Muthaiah for love and property. Their father, the wealthy landlord Ekambaram, abandoned Kumaran's mother for a concubine. The film builds to a climax where poisoned milk becomes the weapon of betrayal. Palabhishekam ran successfully for 50 days in theatres and was praised for its emotional family drama. It was released on 14 May 1977.

Storyline
Kumaran is a poor farmer who does not know the village landlord is his real father. He falls in love with Sivagami, but her father wants her to marry the landlord's other son Muthaiah. As family secrets unravel, a plot to poison the landlord with milk threatens to destroy everyone.
