Thaliya Salangaiya(1977)
Thaliya Salangaiya is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by T. R. Ramanna. It stars Vanisri and Muthuraman in lead roles. The story follows Chandra, a young woman who loves classical dance but faces opposition from her traditional family and society. She is forced to choose between marriage and her passion for dancing. The film is a remake of the 1969 Kannada film Gejje Pooje, based on a novel by M. K. Indira. It was produced by M. Sivaprakasam under Sarojini Movies, with music by K. V. Mahadevan. The film received positive reviews for its emotional depth and Vanisri's performance. It was released on 13 April 1977.

Storyline
