Avan Oru Sarithiram(1976)
'Avan Oru Sarithiram' is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. S. Prakash Rao. It stars Sivaji Ganesan, Manjula, and Kanchana in lead roles. The story follows Shankar, an honest IAS officer whose family is destroyed by a vengeful businessman. Shankar resigns from his post and becomes a journalist to expose corruption. Storyline
An honest IAS officer refuses to sign illegal papers for a wealthy businessman. The businessman becomes a politician and destroys the officer's family by taking their land.
