Athaiya Mamiya(1974)
Athaiya Mamiya is a 1974 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Chithralaya Gopu. It stars Jaishankar and Ushanandini in lead roles, with supporting performances by Nagesh, Manorama, and M. N. Rajam. The story follows Shankar, who returns from abroad and reveals his secret marriage to Usha, leading to conflict with his traditional father. Storyline
Shankar returns home after studying abroad. His parents plan to marry him to a relative's daughter. But Shankar shocks them by revealing he is already married to Usha. His father throws him out. Now Shankar and Usha must build a life together while winning back their family's love.
