Jaggubhai is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film stars R. Sarathkumar as Jagannathan, a tough police officer, alongside Shriya Saran as his daughter Monisha and debutant Srisha as Ilavarasi. The plot follows Jaggubhai, who discovers twenty-one years after a failed mission in Australia that he has a grown daughter from a brief romance. He must protect her from the same thugs who ruined his mission and killed her mother. The film is a remake of the 2001 French film Wasabi and was originally conceived with Rajinikanth in the lead. It faced significant piracy issues before release, with an unfinished version leaked online. The film premiered on 27 January 2010 in Chennai and released theatrically two days later.

Storyline
Jagannathan, a fearless Indian police officer known as Jaggubhai, returns to Australia twenty-one years after a failed mission. He learns that his brief romance with Ilavarasi produced a daughter, Monisha, who is now an adult. Monisha is in danger from the same thugs who killed her mother. Jaggubhai must protect her and settle old scores.
