Ponvandu (transl. Golden Beetle) is a 1973 Indian Tamil-language comedy-drama film written, produced, and directed by N. S. Maniam. The film stars Jaishankar, Bharathi, Usha Nandini, Shubha, and Jayachitra in lead roles. The story follows Kannan, a young man whose life turns chaotic after he finds a golden beetle, attracting greedy troublemakers and three women who falsely claim to be his wives. Storyline
