Thirumalai Thenkumari(1970)
Thirumalai Thenkumari is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language road film written and directed by A. P. Nagarajan. The ensemble cast includes Sivakumar, Kumari Padmini, Rama Prabha, Manorama, Sirkazhi Govindarajan, and Suruli Rajan. The story follows ten to twelve families from different backgrounds who embark on a pilgrimage bus tour from Tirupati to Kanyakumari. At each temple stop, a family faces a challenge caused by forgetfulness or irresponsibility, forcing the group to work together. The film was among the earliest road movies in Tamil cinema and was shot entirely on location at real pilgrimage sites. It was released on 15 August 1970 and became a commercial success. The film won three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, including Best Music Director for Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan.

Storyline
