Mannippu(1969)
Mannippu (transl. Forgiveness) is a 1969 Indian Tamil-language romantic thriller film directed by M. Krishnan Nair. The lead cast includes Jaishankar, A. V. M. Rajan, Vennira Aadai Nirmala, and Lakshmi. The story follows a love triangle that leads to a murder, a wrongful arrest, and a courtroom confession. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Padunna Puzha (1968). It was praised for its emotional depth and strong performances. The music was composed by S. M. Subbaiah Naidu with lyrics by Vaali. Mannippu was released on 28 November 1969 and was a box office success.

Storyline
