Thangachurangam(1969)
Thangachurangam (transl. Gold Mine) is a 1969 Indian Tamil-language spy thriller film directed by T. R. Ramanna and produced by E. V. Rajan. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Bharathi, Vennira Aadai Nirmala, and Nagesh in lead roles. The story follows CBI officer Rajan as he investigates a gang that produces counterfeit gold. The gang's leader, Mr. Spy, holds a scientist captive to manufacture the fake gold. The film is notable for its James Bond-style action sequences and a dramatic father-son conflict. Some scenes were shot at the Madras Race Course. The film was a major commercial success upon its release on 28 March 1969.

Storyline
A CBI officer named Rajan is assigned to crack a fake gold racket. The gang's leader, Mr. Spy, is ruthless and powerful. Rajan must rescue a kidnapped scientist and stop the counterfeit operation. But he does not know that his biggest enemy is his own father.
