Chakkaram is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language action film directed and written by A. Kasilingam. The lead cast includes Gemini Ganesan, A. V. M. Rajan, and Vennira Aadai Nirmala, with Sowcar Janaki in a guest appearance. The story follows a secretary who ventures into a forest to capture a wanted thief and claim a one lakh rupee bounty. The film is known for its forest-based chase sequences and the popular song 'Kasethan Kadavulappa' composed by S. M. Subbaiah Naidu. It was produced by K. R. Balan under Annai Films and released on 6 December 1968, but it failed commercially.

Storyline
A secretary named Babu learns about a one lakh rupee bounty on a dangerous thief named Jambu. To save his debt-ridden boss Meenakshi, Babu enters a dark forest to hunt Jambu down. The thief fights back using traps and the wild terrain, turning the chase into a battle of survival and wits.
