Muthuchippi(1968)
Muthuchippi (transl. Pearl Oyster) is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by M. Krishnan and produced by P. L. Mohan Ram. The film stars Jaishankar, Jayalalithaa, and Nagesh in lead roles. The story follows Prabha, a trusting young man whose life is destroyed by lies spread by a wealthy womanizer. Prabha loses his father, his love Geetha, and his social standing before his loyal friend Sathiyam helps him uncover the truth. The film was a commercial success at the box office and was remade in Telugu as Agni Pariksha. The soundtrack, composed by S. M. Subbaiah Naidu, features the popular song 'Thotta Idam'. Muthuchippi was released on 6 September 1968.

Storyline
Prabha is a kind young man in love with Geetha. A wealthy womanizer wants Geetha for himself and spreads lies to destroy her reputation. Prabha loses his father, his job, and his love. With help from his loyal friend Sathiyam, Prabha fights to uncover the truth and win back everything he lost.
