Nenjirukkumvarai(1967)
'Nenjirukkum Varai' (1967) is a Tamil-language drama film directed and produced by C. V. Sridhar. It stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, R. Muthuraman, and V. Gopalakrishnan. The story follows Raghu, a poor man who falls in love with his landlord's daughter, Raji, but sacrifices his feelings when she falls for his friend Siva. The film was shot in black-and-white without makeup to emphasize poverty. It was released on 2 March 1967 and failed at the box office, partly because audiences disliked seeing Ganesan's character die. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan.
