Thangai(1967)
Thangai is a 1967 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar and produced by Balaji. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as Raju, a protective older brother, alongside K. Balaji, Kanchana, and S. A. Ashokan. The story follows Raju's struggle to raise his younger sister Thangam after their parents are murdered by a wealthy landlord. Raju works as a laborer in a village controlled by the cruel Nallasivam, who opposes his son's love for Thangam. The conflict escalates into kidnapping, violence, and a final confrontation.
