'Annavin Asai' (1966) is a Tamil-language crime drama film directed by Dada Mirasi and produced by K. Balaji under the banner Sujatha Cine Arts. The film stars Gemini Ganesan, Savitri, K. Balaji, and K. R. Vijaya in lead roles. The story follows Ramanathan, a jobless man who fakes his death in an insurance fraud scheme to fund his younger brother Ravi's medical education. The plot explores the unintended consequences of this deception as the insurance money corrupts Ravi and drives the family apart. Noted for being the first production of Sujatha Cine Arts, the film features a cameo by Hindi cinema legend Ashok Kumar as a judge. The soundtrack was composed by K. V. Storyline
