Avan Pitthana(1966)
Avan Pithana? (transl. Is He Mad?) is a 1966 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by P. Neelakantan. The lead cast includes S. S. Rajendran, C. R. Vijayakumari, S. V. Sahasranamam, T. S. Balaiah, and T. P. Muthulakshmi. The story follows Kumar, an orphan raised by a tea shop couple, who unknowingly helps his estranged grandfather's nurse while fighting a forged will. The film was written by M. Karunanidhi and is a remake of the Telugu film Dagudu Moothalu (1964). It was praised by Kalki magazine for the performances of Rajendran, Vijayakumari, and Balaiah. The movie released on 29 April 1966.

Storyline
A wealthy industrialist disowns his son for marrying a poor woman. Years later, the son is dead and his orphaned grandson Kumar runs a tea shop. Kumar helps a young woman named Gomathi become a nurse for his own grandfather, who does not recognize him. When the grandfather dies, a forged will threatens to steal everything.
