Kathal Padhuthum Paadu is a 1966 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by Joseph Thaliath Jr. and produced by Citadel Studios. The film stars Jaishankar as Raju and Vanisri as Suguna in her Tamil cinema debut. The story follows Raju, a kind-hearted man who is falsely accused of murdering Maya, a woman obsessed with him. The film explores themes of one-sided love, false accusations, and the power of loyal friendship. It was a commercial success upon its release on 7 October 1966 and was later remade in Telugu as Premalo Pramadam. The music was composed by T. R. Pappa with lyrics by Panchu Arunachalam and others.

Storyline
