Kalangarai Vilakkam(1965)
Kalangarai Vilakkam is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by K. Shankar. It stars M. G. Ramachandran and B. Saroja Devi in lead roles, with M. N. Nambiar in a supporting part. The story follows police inspector Raju who falls in love with a woman claiming to be haunted by a ghost. After her apparent death, he becomes obsessed with a look-alike and uncovers a web of deception. The film is an adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo, reimagined with Tamil cultural elements and commercial film conventions. It was produced by G. N. Velumani and features music by K. V. Storyline
